For an easier property edit of assemblies, especially if the files are located in different folders, a way to include children and parents files for edit.
Ideally just the same buttons, used for example in the check out process, could be added.
This is especially helpful for new constructions in R&D or copies of existing constructions. Often those are made and build up using relatively generic names and without article numbers. As soon as the project proceeds and a decision on the design is made, the parts are generated in the ERP system and usually with that a big renaming and editing of the part properties are needed.
For bigger developments, including more than just one assembly, those files are often spread across different Vault folders. The addition of those buttons would speed up the process significantly.
