Part update

Part update

Say I have 20 assemblies, each assembly has a specific part in common. That specific part I would like to update once and have Vault automatically do the other 19. How can this be done?

Hi There,

Thanks for posting your idea, at present we do not open and update references in locations where a file is used as this may have significant performance impact, cause errors where parent files are locked and introduce unintended issues in older models.

Note that we do reference latest on next open and edit of a file, which is where we do the update, as you require it, not automatically.  This is perhaps something that could be revisited in the future in certain circumstances.

(Worse case option is to select where used for file and manually open and save all files).
