Automatic PDF creation by default uses the "Design Representation" category which you can then set permissions for so that Thin Client users can view just the PDFs. Unfortunately, automatic STP and DXF files use the same category, resulting in Thin Client users viewing them as well.
We need a solution so that Thin Client users can only see PDF and not the associated DXF and STP files. They already can't see native CAD files using lifecycle permissions, but there is no clean way to do this within a single Design Representation Category. I don't see a way to keep the part and stp file synchronized along with applying more granular security rules.
