When a vault is backed up from ADMS it will perform the database validation prior to checking things like if the path provided is accessible or if the Autodesk user has write permissions to the target folder. (There is also not a check if there is enough disk space available for the backup to succeed properly.)
This can cause slowdowns as the validation is an extended process and can take an extended time before the issue becomes apparent.
