Vault current searches the folder selected and the sub-folders under the selected folder. I would like Vault to search all folders. Our team works by adding all new components to a project folder but like all companies we reuse components when possible. I forget I am within a project folder when searching and if the intended component is in another folder it is not found, but I know it exists in Vault. This could be a option/setting as other users may prefer to search within existing folders, but I would prefer to see all files in our database that match the search criteria regardless of the folder I am currently in.
I would also like search to include/index Rev block information. There are times when it is helpful to search if we know an EC number (we use an external EC system, not Vault's). Indexing this information would be helpful in edge cases.
