It would be fantastic to have another tab in Vault called "drawing set" so a complete drawing set of drawings can be printed out from the top level assembly with a couple of clicks. This should also be available in vault client so the guys on the shop floor can refer to this tab and print out the full drawing set without Engineering having to do this in Vault Professional.
This should work similar to the "item master" tab. When you check an assembly, sub part/assemblies and related drawings, all of these files are added to the top level because they are linked as shown in the BOM (uses and where used).
Our shop floor has to currently navigate the BOM in vault, looking through the "uses" tab to find the sub parts/assemblies and then refer to a the "where used" tab to find the drawing which is time consuming. Others opt to print the top level drawing out and manually print out each individual drawing from there (old school / technically challenged).
I believe this would be an amasingly powerful tool and would save a rediculous amount of time and money for business that would benefit from this system.
