Bring back Vault's Secondary Admin Role!

At one time, Vault included a Secondary Administrator role.

This was great for assigning a back-up Admin with limited permissions from a full Admin of course.

But this was taken away for some odd reason.

Can we please get it back, but with the ability to get really granular if needed on what perms & abilities can be assigned?

I have 10 users here with full Admin rights, yet each has strong points and weaknesses that can really cause issues if and when they attempt something they don't fully grasp. Or has this already been addressed and I just haven't run across such yet?

Create a Role
1. Click New Role on the Roles Management dialog box.
2. Enter a name and an optional description for the user-defined role.
3. Define the role's permissions by adding from the list of available permissions.

Note: Enter a Search value to filter the Available Permissions and Selected Permissions.
4. Click OK.

As Oleg stated, you can get this by creating custom roles.

Also, there are other system roles at different levels.

• Configuration Administrator
• Project Administrator
• Security Administrator
