Automatic Renaming of DWF files when CAD Files are renamed
When we rename any CAD files (E.g. IPT/IAM), the associated DWF file does not get renamed automatically. We have to manually perform Update view (Update locally/ Queue update) to update the DWF file and get the DWF file name corrected. If this can be automated during the CAD file renaming step this would be helpful.
Not sure if this helps, but you can keep a DWF keep connected even after a rename of the CAD file. There is an option in the Visualization Management. You will then get a DWF with the new name after the next regular update of the original, e.g. on check in.
Of course, if you also store the visualizations outside of Vault, this will not work.
