Job Processor error: Aquirefiles Failed

Hi. After migration of Vault Professional from Vault Pro 2019 to 2021 0.2 we have problems accessing some files in our Vault. Files are located in a folder with folder permission (same folder permissions as in other folders) that works. JobProcessor fail the job with the error: AquireFiles Failed. Please examine the log. The log seems to tell something about the folder permissions. But not sure. Anyone knows about this? Or have some advise in one direction?

Hi. We solved this issue this morning. We pinpointed the issue down to assemblies and some files referenced that Job Processor user was not able to download due to folder permissions on Library folders. We removed this permissions and reset them. Then i works again. Strange..permissions has been there since 2005...

So, happy to solve it and the business is up and running.

One new feature in 2021 was to separate download permissions (previously read permission also allowed download). The data migration should have automatically given 'download' permissions to users with 'read' permission (to maintain consistent behavior), but based on your experience it sounds like some case may have been missed in migration.

 

It sounds like you are already up and running, so just consider this some context to further understand the situation.
