Hello,
Has anyone had this problem with installing vault client 2025.1?
These autodesk links below don't work. Uninstalling all products and cleaning the registry from autodesk entries doesn't work either.

And what is strange? that before 9.10.2025 everything worked

Are you trying to install the full client with the update, or the update only?

If you are trying to install the update only, how did you install the original client? Install now, download or deployment image?

I'm trying to install the entire client with the update, not just the update. I get errors both with the web install and with the downloaded client. And the interesting thing is that the vault client 2024 installs normally.

Download Vault 2025 without the update and install it. Do not use the Web installer or the deployment option.

This should allow you to install the client.

After that is installed, download the update and install it.

Here you go - installation from a clean image without updates. It seems that Autodesk should take this problem seriously, no one can help, even support has not managed to solve the problem. Solutions are published that do not help at all, this is a terrible approach.

As I wrote earlier, I clicked through all the suggestions published on the Autodesk website - nothing helps.

Send some data from the logs ?

Did you create a product support case?

Hello,

35 Mb - should I attach it here? I made a case, but the consultations were quite chaotic.

Hi @daniel_kuna , yes please attach the log files here.

I assume it should be of format ODIS-Info_<timestamp>.zip

Hi @daniel_kuna ,

I checked the logs shared from your side and it seems Valut client installation was attempted before as well but it may not be removed from the system completely and now causing concern in current installation.

Can you please check if the subkey "62A625FC460301000000209E05916B82" exist under registry key "Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products" on the machine where current installation is tried?

Yes, there is such a key, it has directories but everything is empty. I deleted it but the installation error is still there.
I already mentioned that I deleted all autodesk products and cleaned the registry using MicrosoftProgram_Install_and_Uninstall.meta

ok, it worked, I deleted all four occurrences of this key in the entire registry, not only in Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products
and I managed to install a clean install without update 2025.1

Thanks for the tip sikandar_ilyas

Sorry for hijacking the thread here:

Could there be a similar key needing deletion for installing Vault Pro 2024 Client (Build 29.3.71.0)?

I get a similar message trying to install the client on one computer from our deployment server. The other 108 installs, than I've done the last month, ran smooth.

But this one computer is causing me problems. Specs are well and beyond requirements.
