Search and Replace in Rename Assistant (Vault 2025)

Hello dear Autodesk Community,

I am trying to rename several files using the Rename Assistant in Vault. In earlier versions of Vault, it was possible to use Ctrl + H to search and replace specific words within file names.

However, in Vault 2025, the Ctrl + H shortcut no longer works, and I can’t seem to find an alternative way to perform a batch search-and-replace within the Rename Assistant.

Could you please advise me on how to efficiently replace parts of multiple file names at once—similar to what was previously possible with Ctrl + H?

Thank you very much in advance for your help!

Best regards,
Alex

+1 on this, @johnsonshiue any ideas why this functionality is missing from Vault 2025?

No, neither of the previous methods are available in 2025.2.1

I know this is not the most recent update but I am bound by my employer's server version.

Actually, never mind @arkad_s, apparently I was right clicking is the wrong place.

RMB in the table cell in not OK, CTLR+H is not OK, but RMB in the header is? Counter-intuitive or what?!

@NOEL_GETTINGBYCZTUC great that links helped at the very end.

To my knowledge the rename dialog was redesigned in some recent updates to add some more functionality (I think these two links references to these changes https://help.autodesk.com/view/VAULT/2024/ENU/?guid=GUID-6E60DFF7-C7D1-499D-A209-224405EF78ED and https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/vault-ideas/customize-rename-wizard/idi-p/6333651). But I can understand it can be tricky to find where some options were moved to. Bringing back old CTRL+H shortcut sounds like good thing to be posted for Vault Ideas too.
