Custom Reports must have an option to set the print area in Excel.

currently the Custom Reports created by JasperReport and exported as Excel files have the print area set to Letter Format. 

give the users the option to set the export format to A4 or Letter.

this features enable the reports to be used by multiple teams across the globe and the users don't have to change the print format manually in Excel.

You might want to try these properties in JasperReport, maybe they could prove useful:

• net.sf.jasperreports.export.xls.fit.height
• net.sf.jasperreports.export.xls.fit.width
• net.sf.jasperreports.export.xls.page.scale
• net.sf.jasperreports.export.xls.print.page.width
• net.sf.jasperreports.export.xls.print.page.height
