The BOM wizard uses cryptic symbols with no explanation or legend in the form to indicate what they mean or what to do about them. In my screenshot I show a line that the wizard claims to be anomalous. In the left-hand column, there's a question mark and a exclamation mark. Mousing over the question mark yields no response, mousing over the exclamation mark yields a tooltip saying "Is unresolved" - not very informative.
On the eBom side of the wizard, there's a black flag beside the item type icon. While this is noticeably different than the white flag beside every other item, there's no indication of why it's different. Mousing over the flag yields a tooltip of the item number, right beside where the item number is already displayed.
Nowhere on this form is there text that says "This item is obsolete" or what the possible actions to take are. The software should not just present these icons with no context or explanation. There should at least be a legend integrated in the form so users can reference what these symbols mean, but more ideally there should be tooltips on the icons with useful information and a long-form explanation of what the form is trying to tell the user with the possible actions to choose from.
