Stingray Materials - Glass

I've been using Standard materials from 3ds Max and exporting them to Stingray. I have been having trouble with my glass material.  The glass shader I'm using consists of a Raytrace map in the refraction slot. and vray color map in the opacity. After baking the lights everything behind the glass turns black as if there is not enough light traveling through even with the opacity down.  Any ideas why?

Thanks

Hi breadball,

Could you provide a screen shot of your glass and the material set up? Or can you provide your project so I can have a look? The more info you can provide the better! Thanks 🙂

This is my glass shader setup from Max 'Glassy Standard'.

This is the Glass shader after baking.  The Shadows are extremely dark.

It may have something to do with the raytrace map I added in max. I know this isn't a great shader by any means. If you can help or guide me to a Tutorial for doing Glass in Stingray I'll be more than greatful.

Thanks

That´ll be really helpful,

dealing with the same going for multiple blend somethings.

I´ll try to achieve a "clear coat" effect in the end.

Soo much work ...
