Mirror flip selection?

Let's say i have an arrow that goes left to right.

How do i flip it with a lasso so it goes right to left?

  1. Cut/Copy/Paste into a new layer.
  2. Rotate 180 degrees.

You know, an arrow was just a example to express with my bad english what i meants...

If i did with a person, he would have been hanging, not looking into a mirror or anything...

You can dynamic selecting.  When the bounded box shows, just move the two left corners (top and bottom) in such a way that they become the right corners.  I'm not sure if you'll understand, but if you've figured out another way to mirror selections, please let me know how.  Thanks.
