Hi Dev Team!   For some reason, the Displacement Maps for Members results option seems to be located on the PANELS MAPs results window and NOT in the Maps for Members results window. See below.   Given that the Displacement Maps for Members is a MEMBER result (i.e. beam elements), not sure what was the intend of putting it available via the Panel Maps results window ONLY.    It is quite limiting not happing this result available when working with members only, as the this results only becomes available when there are panels modelled. To circumvent this problem, I been modelling "dummy" plates to be able to see/access the Displacement Maps for Members results but this just seem silly when there seems to be a simpler and logical solution to this.      Show More

Can you add an easy function to rotate the 3D model view without toggling the rotate 3D button?   May I suggest holding down the rick- click button to allow rotation? Similar to holding down the mouse scroller to allow panning of the view. Show More

I just thought of an idea for an add-in or other type of calculation that could be implemented in ARSA.   When dealing with irregular buildings, the engineer is challenged to design a system that has translational vibration in the first modes. This means zero or near zero eccentricity e0x and e0y. The idea is to implement an iterative solution which can propose location, length and thickness of additional walls (or columns) to be added to the initial configuration. This addition shall impose zero or near zero eccentricity e0x and e0y.   I did that in a spreadsheet for a simple building by calculating the CM and CR for the original configuration. Then I updated the calculation by introducing new wall which gives zero e0x and e0y by simple Goal Seek option in Excel.   I guess this idea could be easily implemented in ARSA. What do you think? It will be very powerfull if you can add an option in the panels or claddings definition that allow you to create a node-dependent panel or cladding.   In this way if you need to modify the structure geometry by node coordinate, you can transfer this modification automatically in the panels or in the claddings, avoiding geometry imprecision in model definition.    It will be very powerfull in large models or in complex geometry model.
