I fully agree, I can't believe this feature is not implemented yet. There should also be a setting for default diagram display.
More generally the post-processing part of the software needs much attention. Displaying relevant values is cumbersome and sometimes even impossible. Autodesk should observe the competing softwares and take inspiration from them.
