THA Wind Load

Hello, I would like to check the deformation results obtained in my model (attached), considering a THA for the wind load applied in horizontal direction.

I set the function "viento_0.01Hz" is sin(360*f*t), where f(frequency) is 0.01 Hz according to standard wind.

I obtein less deformation in THA mode than in a static linear mode for the wind load.

Please, someone how indicates if the results are correct or not.

Thanks.

Hi @Anonymous

Your THA analysis lasts 10 s. According to your THA function value =0.59 for t=10 s

Load changes very slow (small frequency) so loads acts as quasi static. If you increase THA time to 25 sec. you should reach THA function value =1 so results for load case 3 should be similar to THA results in last time step.
