Hi my friends,

To save RSA and to inform Autodesk that we really love RSA and its the best software ever and you need to keep developing it and improve it more and more.

I am trying to raise our voice and send it to the highest person on Autodesk to let them understand that they have to focus on RSA not to cancel it.

There fore I am trying to collect the voices from our lovely forum. If you are interested in this issue Please send me your feedback and

your contact details to my personal mail (mustafahesenow@gmail.com).

Name , work , your name on RSA forum, and personal mail, and your phone number.

Many thanks for your collaboration.

We love RSA and we will do our best to save it.

Hi @StefanoPasquini6790

Believe me and I am sure you know that you cant find this flexibility of RSA in any other software. The problem is that Autodesk dont know what software they have.

Mustafa,

This is why I say we shall buy it and make use. No other software are own by engineers, instead are own by big corporations were sale is the driver, nothing else.

I agree with you. Robot is user friendly what is most important and have the best forum for teaching ....

All this conversation is also visible for Autodesk team, why they don't give us any answer. or comment.....

Hi @tom.krok

perhaps, they do not care. Once I wrote an email complaining that in the UK the team which tried to sale Robot was below any expectation, instead, the guy wanted to sale Revit 🙂

Let us think, if there are say 10k Robot users and ech of us contribute £1000 is 1000x10000=10e+6 which is enough to buy the soft from Autodesk. £1000 per year is less the subscription for Robot itself and still enough to pay e.g. Artur, Pawel at al for further development and maintenance.

Hi @tom.krok

Also pay subscription for Revit and RSA.

the best solution is to force Autodesk to think but I would still plan to buy it. For so many years they have not done much for Robot. I can say that Robot is as same as I used it in the last Century 😉 ..... but still better than other softs. 😉

Robot is an invaluable software it intuitive workflow combined with it calculation power make it unique, when I was and undergraduate student I decided to learn a little about many structural analysis softwares, by the time I tried Robot I realized that it were far better than the others ones since then it became the software which all my designs are done.

Recently in my country engineers started to get interested on RSA and RSA courses are appearing.

RSA worth development keep it on.

I agree with you completely dear Mustafa,

As I said in my post RSA is the only structural software in All the Autodesk products!

Therefore it is the skeleton and the main structure of REVIT and the whole AEC collection.

Yes AUTODESK Develop and improve RSA and encourage all the users to benefit  from the Power of BIM!

THIS IS THE REAL FUTURE OF MAKING THINGS.

Well, the other company, a big corpo, will buy it to kill it to sell their own product. Capitalism does not tolerate competitors 😉

At the beginning, for the purchase:

We have to nominate trusties e.g. you or other interested user for the transaction. We will write a kind of contract/obligation.

Then we will establish an account in a bank or paypall account etc.

Each contributor paying in will become automatically a share holder. We will write a document confirming the contribution etc.

If having enough money to carry out the transaction, we will buy it. If not, the money will be returned to the contributors.

Bear in mind, unmaintained software is still usable for a few years 😉

Of course, if the initiative progresses, we will develop legal site of it.

The final position would be that every contributor would be automatically a stake holder and subscriber. Depending on the amount of user and so money needed for maintenance and further development the price of subscription would fluctuate.

So, the concept is to develop a not-for-profit imitative i.e. stake holders would not receive money from the subscriptions or sale.

I think the above for a start shall be enough.

Of course any comments, suggestions very welcome.

Giving up Robot is not the best way to compete either, au contraire, it is the best thing that can happen to competitor's softwares... I think Autodesk is not acting rationally.
