You can send your ideas to the autodesk comunity. In the alive softwares, this ideas are catalogated, gathering support , under review, future consideration or Accepted.
But Robot development is in "limbo" and the ideas are accumulated without be attended apparently.

Is that normal? Why autodesk treats Robot differently to other programs?

So we've been 10 years, waiting the "next generation"

I think Autodesk was busy with React and invest a lot to develop it. Now it is clear that nothing happened. I hope, Autodesk will pay more attention to Robot and will not be distracted with ideas to perfom analysis in other programs such as React or Revit in clouds.

Hello,

I would like to see further development of Robot. We are using the Ultimate Suite and we love the advantages of using different packages (Revit, Robot, Bim360 Team and docs ...) to create a complete BIM workflow. However Robot needs updates to make it more stable and to make a better connection between Revit and Robot. Also the way sheets are created in Robot should be better.

A few years ago I heard whispers about introducing React Structure, but I'm still waiting on news about the improvements in comparison with Robot.

Hopefully these reactions on the forum will be heard by Autodesk.

Kind regards,

Pieter

Showing the power and the good presentation of the amassing RSA.

It is really one of the most flexible and powerful structural software on the market!

But it needs continuous development to keep its leadership.

Hi @Anonymous

I only use CBS then Robot to complete the modeling . For Fascade I took it for Acutocad 3D then I import it to Robot . Few hours only .

This is what Autodesk care improving modeling features by Dynamo or another software . For me Robot have very good power for modeling

Need to concentrate on the technical side (Engineering and analysis ).

We are looking to move from STAAD to something else. I've pushed our engineers to try Robot for years with little success. Now that we are moving to Revit, our younger engineers want to look at Robot. Well, now that the future of Robot is questionable, we may not even look at it. Can we please have some announcement of what the future of Autodesk solution will be for structural analysis? I don't think the Revit Cloud Strutural Analysis is going to cut it anytime soon.
