Hi @Rafacascudo

This is exactly what will happen when you rely on someone who is not engineer and doesn't have experience in structural analysis to plan and set the strategy of structural engineering .

Something funny really for big company like Autodesk to have this.

I challenge all these guys who responsible of this cloud **** for structural analysis If they can do structural analysis for vila 2 floors correctly .

So what do we need to expect .

Its all mess.

Stupid Strategy.

A basketball game in the Brandies gym.the team is doing well , and the student section begins a chant"we are number one ! We are number one !". Morrie is sitting nearby He is puzzle by the cheer . At one point , in the midst of " we are number one!" He rises and yells ," what's wrong with being number two"

We need RSA to Rise again , and say RSA is number one.

Please save RSA.

This is truly a grassroots movement. We, RSA users, we stand together in a difficult moment of a Civil Engineering history. For the 1st time we are all able to create a virtual prototype of a building site using latest Autodesk software (Robot+Revit+3dsmax+3rd party sdk game engine) introducing a realtime walkthrough. It is sad to hear that Autodesk does not work on the latest Robot version in the middle of that "digital revolution" in many countries. Speaking of which, I am asking You, Robot users: stand beyond the RSA software, try something new to feel the difference. Then, maybe our fav software supplier (Autodesk) will produce the next-gen structural analysis software. If You also want to understand my pov, click on the LINK

Greetings to all of you, cenationgg.

Hi All,

I have used Robot since its first release in the early 80's.
At the same time, I used also software developed internally in my company. This one was better than the first release of Robot, when these 2 programs were modelized by text files.
But as time went by, Robot switched to a graphic design that I liked on a practical level. Given the complexity of the structure that followed the development of the structural softwares, tmoving to Robot became a necessity.
Since then I have not changed any structural software.
Structural engineering is a high-level science. It is cornerstone of all the exceptional works that we see around the world.
Robot has a proven thas proven its worth iin this area and its reliability is recognized by all users around the world, and feedback on this forum is living proof.
The development of Robot must be done by teams of high lscientific level (mathematics, ..).
Wanting to make it a simple tool  integrated  into a one work force machine, like plug and play, is dangerous.
This new tool will be accessible to everyone, even to people with no knowledge of structural engineering. But these people will be convinced of their results.
What a disaster!
I understand that the number of  engineers structure users is very low, compared to the price needed for development. This view of profitability is false, because without a safe structure, calculated by high-level software, there will be no more exceptional work.
If giving up the development of RSAP is true, it will be a betrayal of its customers who have spent years of practice to master it.

What a mess, more than thirty years of existence and development going to wast.

Hi @Simau

Many thanks for your valuable impression . I really feel about each word you  wrote it and I have even the same feeling .

Autodesk has to know that killing RSA is not matter of canceling software no this really means that Autodesk is killing our dreams , our experience , our science , and our respect .

In one and half month only of posting this thread became the largest thread in all Autodesk communities which that means many people are interested in RSA and want to save it .

To Autodesk Please if you dont have capability to develop software like RSA please sell it or give it to other company has capability to develop it .

RSA is Amazing

Gents, let's stop crying like babies on a forum and act like grown ups.

It happens to know what is behind a product with testers,BA's, PM's, CTO's etc. and the thing is the business is first and the product is second.

For this reason, please fill in https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16iyGV6ZTesO_UDiNDZOHNoj1TbP1SSlNH51DI7Ds_ZU/edit?usp=sharing .

If not, I would say to find different colors and fonts for SAVE OUR RSA :)))) Peace out.
