Hi my friends,

To save RSA and to inform Autodesk that we really love RSA and its the best software ever and you need to keep developing it and improve it more and more.

I am trying to raise our voice and send it to the highest person on Autodesk to let them understand that they have to focus on RSA not to cancel it.

There fore I am trying to collect the voices from our lovely forum. If you are interested in this issue Please send me your feedback and

I think currently nothing to worry about Robot because currently Autodesk have nothing to compared or replace their product to Robot, Cannot compare to Revit, coz revit do analysis only has no design. I can be convince if they going to replace it to React Structure because React Structures is just almost similar to Robot.

HI,

to give more power to the Mustafa post, and to the powerful of RSA, I've comfortably managed a model of thin walled sections with a results file of about 60 Gb!!!!!!

read this post: https://roboting.wordpress.com/2014/01/01/more-than-80000-bars-in-one-hour-with-dxfimporter-for-robo...

I don't think that all the softwares can do this.

RSA IS THE BEST, AND CAN BECAME THE KING!! PLEASE SAVE OUR RSA!!

Buying Robot only to use it to perform static analysis of buildings is like buying a Ferrari to drive it at 20km/h max.😣
Why didn't Autodesk buy something like Etabs or cypecad instead???🤔🤔

Dear Guys,

I have try to analyze in clouds of using Revit, Its not so well the analysis time was so long, I don't think company will benefits them with that option Its just a waste of time, why not just Autodesk focus of how to develop RSA and its interoperability to Revit.

What I love about robot its meshing capability.

I LOVE ROBOT STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS

Just please add American Code for the Connection Design.

and more option for prestress loading... Thank you 😄

Hi Guys,

The big problem with Autodesk that they think that they can do everything with revit .

Which is totally wrong for structural analysis . and I swear to god and I can assure it 100% that this wont be happened

You cant include the structural analysis machine in revit.

Revit not hero .

RSA and Revit should be developed in the same time in order to get the efficiency the we look for it .

I will just give an example :

every body knows Tekla and its powerful in detailing when they decide to go with structural analysis they didn't include it in Tekla software the made new software they name tekla structural analysis.

I believe that Autodesk the miss this way because they dont have engineers (decision makers )  involved in and aware in structural analysis.

I think Robot Should create facebook page and all projects done by Robot should be post in there so that we can shared the news about. I think in that way we can help to keep Robot Alive.

Because I heard to some company, they don't wanted to try Robot because they don't have that trust yet on the software because they think Autodesk product are good for drafting only. Because not everyone aware that Robot came from a talented company before.

Hi @mustafahesenow

I dont think naming it  Save Our RSA will be good idea, it will just give not good impression to others that the software will soon to be stop.

The purpose of FB page, so that people will see how good the software is, by posting real project done by RSA. In that way will can help the RSA become more famous around the world.

ofcourse FB page alone will not help, you have to help to shared it with your friends any news feed from RSA.

Hi @Iron.Max.Steel

By doing this possibly many will like RSA and they will start to learn it . Then they  will be surprised by stopping it by Autodesk.

This is bad my friend.

Hi Mustafa, I'm joining your cause because it's ridiculous having the latest version of RSA and having more problems than benefits.

I think I've started with Robot Millennium 10 in 2002 and after that I used almost each version.

It looks like the "development" it's going in the wrong direction. The testers should be engineers, people who know wtf is expected from the product ,not only developers:) and "bosses" looking at deadlines and stakeholders. But I'm just an ordinary customer...

See this example . Trimble started not too many years ago and delivered a product ready to use for some engineers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ry8ZVAjXSZM .

I assume Tekla will pump money in it and in the next 3 years will be on the lead.

At least for small to medium high rise buildings. If you can't save it by then...I'll switch to something more friendly.

Regards,

Lucian

Hi @piperr  Hi All,

Guys we should not stop at this point here. Did you notice that no one care about us and about our feeling and about our problems .

I want to ask you this go also to Autodesk blog Site and comment under the structural analysis articles

and post there also links of RSA Gallery and what we did with RSA and our thread link Save our RSA .
