Problem with reinforcement calculation time

Hello, I have a problem with the calculation time of the reinforcement for the foundations of my model. 

This model is imported from Revit, and the reinforcement calculations for the foundations were still working a few days ago, but it takes a really long time now to calculate the reinforcement for each one of them, and nearly impossible to save the file after that. 

When I run the calculations for a Robot model (not coming from revit) it just works normally.

Where does this problem come from ?

Could you attach Robot model which you imported from Revit and indicate the foundation to look at?

Hello Artur, thank you for your reply, I sent you by private message the robot file, the reinforcement calculations are working for all beams and columns, and also working for the foundations (isolates or continuous), but for those last it itakes a really really long time and after that it tales several hours to save the model (when it works).

Do you design the foundations for automatic code combinations (import simple load cases)? If so, mind their number when you have 12 live loads defined. Mind that RC beams contrary to foundations are designed by default for envelope of bending moments.

Thank you, it solves the problem of calculation time, but I still can't save the file after the foundations calculation, do you know where that problem come from ?

What do you mean by 'can't save the file' exactly? Do you have any error, program crashes ?

When I want to save, the program just keep loading and loading for hours. I have a few "bugs" like this that I can't explain. For example when I select all my beams or columns to calculate the reinforcement, the program just closes with no message, or with a crash report. But this bugs don't happen on other files (coming from Revit or not).

Try to:

1. Delete all temporary windows files (%temp% folder)

2. Open the rtd file in the repair mode and save it under a new name following the steps described in ROBOT-how to open file in repair mode article
