Modeling a cantilever floor

i want to model this cantilever floor from the edge of the beam and not from its center line in ROBOT, is this possible?

CAD.PNG

notice also the eccentric connection between the columns and the beam

I guess you need to use rigid links to connect slab with beam and columns in the way you want to have it modeled.

This tool may help you a little:

see part of video related to Beam tab

couldn't find help in the video.

i do model the columns, then model the beam, and then finally i define the beam offset from the center of the column to model the eccentric connection between both, but when i define a cladding, the program just applies it to the center of column as if there was not an eccentric connection.

I did not say anything about offsets

I think that what you need and Rafal was trying to tell you is something like this.

sample rigid links model.jpg

No offsets at all. Everything done with full rigid links. Top of the columms nodes linked to the beams end nodes.

Nodes along the beams also rigidly linked to panel edge nodes.

sample model attached
