Instability (of type 3)

Hello there,

I have constructed a model for a helical stair design on robot but I am having an issue resolving a type 3 failure at 1 particular node. This tends to be located at the mid-flight landing or at the very top of the stair. I have attached a picture to highlight this. Essentially I am wondering if this will have a significant impact on my results and if so is there any way to fix it? Any help would be much appreciated.

Kind Regards

I should also add that if I decrease the number of divisions of my mesh, the failure message changes from type 3 to type 2.

Apologies,

My computer crashed each time I tried to post and I was unaware it had worked. I will try this method and let you know how I get on.

Thanks very much

Apologies but the issue still has not been resolved using the skyline solver as I am still getting a type 3 failure.

Would it be possible for you to have a look at the model and advise me on the best possible solution?

Thanks again for all your help!

Regards
