Roller support in -X only

Hello,

I want to define a new support that resisit only compression forces and cannot resist any tension force.

For this reason I have defined a nonliner support.

For the positive direction: I used to define linear funtion with stifness K = 0 (So that it will not carry ant tension forces)

For the negative direction: I used to define rigid with linear hardening and give it high value for Flim and K.

So that it will resist compression forces.

The problem is in the rigidity parameter !!

Beacuse when I calculate, it gives me "No convergence", then I used to minimize the value of the rigidity parameter !!
Also I recieved the same error !!

If I put rigidity parameter equal to zero, then many errors will appear !!

Can you please help me !!

Thanks.

Why not support with UZ+ uplift instead?

Dear,

You mean UX+ or UX- uplift. not UZ+ Am I right ??

I am not using because also the result gives no convergence !!

I do not see any problem with convergence with such settings:
