Element not assigned to story

Anonymous

I have read the postsCapture.PNG on this subject and have tried to redefine the stories to assign columns to stories.  I have a 3 story structure that was created in Revit.  After redefining the stories, the upper level columns have been assigned but the lower level have not.  What else can I try?

Hi @Anonymous

Try to run model correction to structural axes with e.g. 0.5 m tolerance and then run automatic assignment of elements to stories.

Thank you Artur for all your help.  I appreciate it.

Forgive me but I am not familiar with Robot. Would you please guide me through the steps to run the corrections?  I can not seem to find where this is located.

Thank you

Thank you for you response. I followed the correction procedure and it did
not change the message. The calculation will not run. It seems all the
columns and walls are not assigned to a story. I have attached the file.

Hi @Anonymous

Try to define smaller vertical panels among the levels of the stories instead of a single ones through the entire structure height.
