Connexion beam-beam

Hello,

I would like know if its possible to make an assembly in robot between the two beams (IPE 100) because Robot doesn't want to do it.

The capture of the connexion is attached.

Thank you for the answer.

Hi @Anonymous

Te beams have to be perpendicular. Try the following:

1. Divide the skewed beam into two parts with the one closer to the 'main' beam being very short

2. Make this short part perpendicular to the 'main' beam

3. Create a connection between the 'main' beam and the 'short' one.

As it is only shear force capacity check this should not significantly influence its value.
