Boolean operation

Hi,

I am having a problem with the object combinations. I am trying to make a hole in a panel by using a Boolean operation (subtraction).  The problem is that the operation is keeping the intersection between the two panels. How can I just make a hole in the panel ?

Should I use a projection of a geometrical object ?

I saw on a forum that I could use a contour and click on "opening" in the parameter section but I am using Robot structural analysis 2014 and the box isn't existing.
