Transparency removes cut hatch

Hello I would like to make a coordination view that has my columns show a blend of colors when they are aligned. So I want my link to have red column cut hatches with a 20% transparency and my models columns to have a blue cut hatch with 20% transparency. When I have a link and a model column overlayed I want them to then be purple. trouble is when I set the hatch to any transparency even 1% it removes my hatch entirely. What setting needs to be changed to alllow transparency in a modeled objects hatch.

Somewhat, according to that page autodesk has "fixed this in revit 24 and 25." However, the issue persists with the columns in all versions of Revit. Apparently, someone at Autodesk decided that in coordination discipline hidden lines shouldn't be shown and in structural disciplines hatches can't be transparent. The solution I went with was setting hidden line display to all and setting my discipline to coordination. Preferably Autodesk will fix this in all supported versions of Revit for columns along with the myriad of other issues plaguing plan hatch displays. Also I accidentally discovered the fix on my own, but Ill mark your reply as correct in case anyone else looks for this in the forums. Thank you !
