How are results reported for Revit certification?

I am trying to find a way to gauge where the employees in our office are at and which skills they need to work on.

I thought if the Revit certification had a breakdown of proficiency by category that would be pretty helpful, but it sounds like it is a pass/fail.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Also where are companies finding people proficient in Revit? We have had a really hard time finding anyone who even knows the software.

Hi @dmaughan25

Certiport provides a breakdown of the different categories of the professional certification exam and the score obtained, but this result can only be seen by the applicant, as it is connected to his or her account.

And if you want to search for certified professionals, you can do it here.

Hi @dmaughan25

Autodesk currently features four professional level Revit certifications.  Go to https://www.autodesk.com/certification/all-certifications for an overview, and you'll find the required skill sets and exam objectives outlined per each. For example:

Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit for Structural Design.

Best wishes,

Kristin

I always thought they were certified user, professional and Instructor ...  that changed?? ie: user became associate? and instructor became Expert?

Hi, Autodesk now delivers its own Autodesk Certification experience in English.  If you certify directly through Autodesk's platform with a single sign on service to our online testing provider, PearsonVUE, you should receive the results of your certification via an automated score report.  And if you pass and are awarded the certification, you will receive directions for how to  download your awarded Credly digital badge benefit to share on your social networks.  More information is available here: https://www.autodesk.com/certification/support.

Certiport does still deliver our Certification program for ACU level certs globally, some translated in other languages.  If you certified through Certiport and need support, you will want to contact them directly.  https://certiport.pearsonvue.com/Certifications/Autodesk/Certifications/Certify

Hi @RDAOU,

Our certification levels are: User, Associate, Professional and Expert. We currently offer Revit certifications at User and Professional levels. I welcome feedback on how we can clarify certification levels in our experience!

In addition, the Autodesk Certified Instructor program recognizes instructional skills. ACI program requirements and levels can be found here.

With thanks,

Kristin
