Moment Connection - Column to Beams

Hello everyone,

While I really enjoy the new connections feature in Revit 2017, I do seem to have a small issue in designing our typical moment connection. Is it possible for me to add a connection (as shown below) using the connection feature in Revit 2017? If not, what would be an alternative approach? Currently we show this connection as a 2D detail.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to create a connection like the one you show using only the connections feature in Revit 2016.

You could create a "Double side clip angle" connection to model the clip angles.

After that you could model additional geometry using families to create the seat angles and cap plates.

I was hoping that the answer wouldn't be the same as what I was thinking haha. I guess we can hope for more customization features in the future.
