Hi @ArmanMargaryan 

 

When you insert a connection to the column, the element properties change to a "Steel Fabrication Shape"

Once the item has been converted to a form of steel fabrication, some Revit tools can no longer be applied.

You must first split and then apply the connection, just like you did in the beginning.

 

Perhaps in future versions, it will be possible to apply these tools even with the connections.

thank you very much for you answer, but this is deeply disappointing, being able to split and element with connections should be easily done, same thing for creating connections for double angles(many trusses are made by connected double angles), these are very frequently used operations. When using Tekla, I didn't image those kind of issues could exist. I can't see how the great Autodesk didn't address those basic issues. very disappointing .
