Columns does not move along with the Grids

When I move the grids I need the columns also to move along. But the columns which are off-center from the grids does not move even if the grids are inside the bounding box of the column. The column moves only if the grids are aligned exactly to the centerline of the column. Is it possible to move all the columns that intersects grids even if it is not center aligned, maintaining the offset of column centerline from the grid?

You could try adding a dimension from the column to the Grid and locking it.

You could then delete the locked dim and keep the constraint and it will still move with the grid.
