3D Snap

Hey everyone,

Im trying to place bearings, girders and deck but for now-unsucessful. I have placed pier caps on piers but I set manually offset distance and its not pecise.

I cant snap family to another family.

Also because its litle complicated model-i cant(there is slope) create level for every girder to place it.

I cant select refence plance to place families on them...

How can I do all of this? Thanks!

You might want to consider a different approach to how you have the elements modeled. If I were to approach this as a single family I would use a structural column family rather than a structural foundation family. This family would be nested with the pile cap and piles in it at their desired location and the upper portion as a more standard column. This would allow you to properly attach it to a plane or structural object of your choice.
