Hi,

I'm trying to create a flange family in REVIT. I want the dimensions linked to the drawning to be in the metric system. However, I want to use the nominal diameter in inches, because this parameter is used to search similar components that have to connect with the flange (pipes, valves, etc.) and the pattern to specify this kind of component is in inches. The problem is that when I use the dimensions in millimeters in the drawning and try to use the nominal diameter in inches, a error in units appear. Can I do what I want? And how? If negative, do you have any suggestions?

Thanks.

Hello,

Unfortunatelly, Revit cannot handle imperial and metric units simultaneously, unit conversion is an option, but some problems may arise.

You can create the lookup table using inches and millimeters mixed, but in the project you will need to choose.
