Turn RVT. to an RFA.

I have a RVT. (pump) model that I would like to turn into an RFA.  Can anyone show me how to do this.  I have attached one of the RVT. files I am working with.

Next time, open the RVT and export the model to a SAT file.  Then create a new RFA and import the SAT in.

Hope you are well.

Another way apart from what @ToanDN mentioned is: 

• You might have have downloaded or received the 3D .DWG geometry from somewhere. 
• You can open it in AutoCAD and export it as a .SAT file, or import and export the .DWG or .SAT from Revit once it's in your project. 
• You can import a .DWG/.SAT into a Generic Model Family and just assure that the geometry is placed at the correct Ref. Level. 0'-0", otherwise you'll have to adjust the offset in your project...
• Change the category to Mechanical Equipment. I assigned a "dummy material" to your family which can be adjusted in your project under the family edit type settings. 
• Assign a family naming convention to your family and load it into your project...

@Anonymous Hello, please see attached family. I opened your file and found out that the file is imported from AutoCAD and managed to become RFA file. What I did is open a generic family, insert your AutoCAD file and save as an RFA file and loaded into an RVT file. i'm not sure  that this is acceptable to you. hope it helps. Thanks

Your process is working to create the RFA. so thanks for that.  

However, the reason I wanted to be able to create the RFA. file for this is so I could create and RIF. of this this drawing.

The reason I need an RIF. is the use the command Process Run in Fabrication Cad to insert the Revit model in.  

The ultimate problem I am having is when I export the RIF. file from this it is not showing up in Fabrication CAD when I insert the RIF. into Fabrication-CAD.

Sorry I didn't initially elaborate I thought that creating the RFA would solve my issue.

Do have any advise for this?

Creating the DWG seemed to be ok however what I need is to create and RIF file similar to the other ones I have created with other files from other vendors.  The other files are generally given to me in a RFA format and not RVT.
