Tap off Mitered Duct Elbow

I'm looking to do something a bit unorthodox. I have some existing drawings that indicate some rectangular duct was tapped off a mitered duct elbow. I am attaching a picture of what was drawn.

I know that this isn't ideal, but since I am trying to model existing conditions, I'd like to draw this in Revit. Does anybody have a family that would work to show this? Or an idea of how to make this work as a system? I'm guessing it would be a modified mitered elbow family. It doesn't really need to flex, I could modify the size of the tap via an instance parameter.

For now, I'm just going to draw it as-is and not worry about system connectivity. Thanks!

I used to use model in place for those.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

I'd start with a mitred elbow, add the geometry for a branch, add the branch connector and change the part type to TEE.

You'd also need to figure out an appropriate loss method/factor.
