Is it possible to calculate the amount of a certain floor finish in a building from using room parametres

Hello,

I have a building with many rooms

Each room has a floor finish, wall finish and ceiling finish specified in the parameters.

Is it possible to calculate the total area of all the rooms that have a carpet finish for example?

Thanks

A

How was your Floor Finish applied? Is it a floor with a finish layer set to it, Did you split face and override the surface, Did you draw a separate floor for each room....

Okay to answer your question - the actual material of the floor finish is a standard generic floor.

I am using the ´Floor finish´parameter in the Rooms identity info to identify my floor finishes..

There is no seperate floor for each room

I am trying to do it without that

Certainly. Create a room schedule, add Floor Finish and Area. Sort by Floor Finish.
