Hi,
How to joint two pipes that are at different heights and aligned in the floor plan without cutting any sections?
a trick to do that will be appreciated.
Best,
Start drawing a pipe from the end of one of the pipes with the inherit elevation option on
(hover over the pipe end until you see the elevation value change), click, then repeat the same process for the end of the second pipe. If you have "Add Vertical" on then it will insert a vertical pipe plus required fittings:-
Or if you have "Change Slope" active it will insert a sloped pipe:-
Alternatively select both pipes and click on routing solutions. It should offer several options which you can scroll through, pick the one closest to what you want.
Hello,
If they are not parallel, in a plan view, you can use the TRIM command, which will create a vertical pipe segment to connect both; it is essential to check if the height offset is enough to make it larger, and after the connection, adjust the height.
