Controlling Schematic Representations

So... I have some fittings that do everything I want them to.... save for the single line schematics.

The attached flange is an example what I am having a hard time wrapping my head around.

In a coarse 3D view, the 2D representation lines appear the way I intended but in plan or elevation views, there is clearly some scaling going on.

Is there a way to control that scaling?

I have tried constraining them with parameters and that seems to do nothing.

if you don't want the scaling then within the family go to family types and uncheck Use Annotation Scale.  Now if you want it then within the projects MEP setting you will notice a Pipe fitting Annotation Size.  That will adjust scaling.
