Additional HVAC Systems for Revit Energy Settings

Hi all,

Is there any way to add additional HVAC Systems to the Advanced Energy Settings?

Under 'Analyze > Energy Settings > Advanced Energy Settings >  Buildings Data > HVAC System'  there are several choices, but not a full set of options.

For example, I'm modeling a school with radiant ceiling tiles only (no cooling), but there's no matching option.  Is there a way to add additional HVAC Systems to the energy settings?

And following that, is there a way to set the model as 'heating only'? Or is that something that would be done on the Energy Insight / Green Building Studio side?

Thanks

You can set the Space conditions to be heating only:

Determines how heating and cooling loads are calculated. When set to Unconditioned, no loads are be calculated. When set to Heated, only heating loads are calculated; when set to Cooled, only cooling loads are calculated. All other settings contribute to the loads calculation.

You can select one of the following types:

  • Heated
  • Cooled
  • Heated and cooled
  • Unconditioned
  • Vented
  • Naturally vented only
