Changing or managing the analytical model is harder than it really needs to be.
Analytical model adjustments are very rigid and hard/annoying to control... or to get right.
I need to snap my walls to reference planes to have more control and to keep the model clean.
Same thing goes for every column and every beam. Eventually I end up having a "simplified" group of reference planes that I snap all of my elements to just in order to keep everything clean and organised.
And more often than not, changes push their effects through to other elements ( looking at you columns & beams).
I propose that the analytical model be snapped to a 3D grid... every individual point at least.
Say every analytical point snaps to a grid e.g. 5 or 10cm, there's no real need for an analytical point to have 10 decimals anyway.
