Sheet size in sheet list and title block

Sheet size in sheet list and title block

To assist in the management of sheets, we have a tradition of showing the sheet size in both title block and sheet list schedule. Either in mm (420*297) or in ISO size (A3). This is not something we can do in Revit, other than dancing with shared parameters, that can not read from parameters in the titleblock.

I would like to request that:

Project parameters "Sheet Width" and "Sheet Height" is added as parameters to the titleblock family, so that we can BOTH use them in labels AND in the family editor (to make a calculated value that change mm to ISO). Same parameters are added to the list of parameters we can apply in the Sheet list schedule.

We are given tho possiblity to add shared parameters to titleblock, so we do not have to fool around with project information hacks. In this case, I would use the parameter to calculate from mm to ISO. Other need could apply.

Following up on that, I was about to post the following suggestion when came across yours:

If possible, to add Title Block parameters to Sheet Schedule fields, then one would be able to control visibility/dimensions parameters through the Sheet Schedule, making it much easier to coordinate. Or inversely, being able to label the correspondent sheet instance parameters inside Title Block families.
