Recognize that schedules rule everything in a database.
Revit 2025.3
- Create a couple of Sheet Collections
- Create a couple of placeholder sheets in a Sheet List Schedule that displays sheet collection as a column in the schedule.
- Assign the sheet collections to your placeholder sheets.
A) Certainly I can Right click on any sheet collection and add any of the placeholder sheets, however there is no filter to only add those that are already assigned to the the sheet collection.
B) Project Browser, Sheets Right click New Sheet, add sheet when added, the placeholder sheet do not recognize the sheet collection assigned in the schedule and will be created with no sheet collection at all.
C) Within the schedule, select a line with a placeholder, then pick the New Sheet tool on the ribbon. Seems to me like it should give me the option to just create the selected sheet or multiple, at the "select titbleblock and placeholder Dbox.
With Either B or C above...not only does it create a sheet without the sheet collection, but it then resets the sheet collection to <None> in the schedule
