Title on View Default Location

Title on View Default Location

Ability to set the location properties for the viewport title.  Bottom left is the default.  It would be really nice to set Top/Bottom and Left/Right/Center.

It would nice to set a base point (kind of like a guide grid) and then be able to snap selected view titles in a project to it.

On behalf of a customer from DACH region let me document the following wish:

The idea would be to have a setting where it would be possible to configure the default position of view titles on sheets at placing drawings.

Currently the view title is set always into the left corner below the drawing. Sometime it would be required to have it above the drawing. Now it is had to be done manually, to drag it, but would be nice to have an option for this.

Would be handy to choose any of 8 options for  location of view heading as default placement

I agree that it would be great to have additional control over the default location of the view title. It's such a pain to manually move them around. It would be great to set a default for:

  • Location of the drawing number circle relative to the corner of the view area.
  • Extents of the title line.
