Right click option to "Show View in Browser"

Right click option to "Show View in Browser"

While working in a View or when a view is selected on a sheet, have a right click menu item to "Show in Browser" - this would expand the project browser and highlight the selected view. Very useful when your project has 1000's of views and hundreds of sheets and quicker that copying the name and doing a search in the project browser.

Especially annoying (pre-2018.2's "Expand All" right-click menu) when it's in a group that's not expanded (because you then have to hunt down the appropriate properties to expand)...

Related idea (automatic jump): Project browser to automatically jump to and highlight a view that is current

Even just a bold or highlight on the browser sub cat of current view so that you can find the buried view would be immensely helpful. Single right click go to would be best.

@Anonymous  : This is unfortunately not possible with the current API: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-api-forum/controlling-the-project-browser/td-p/7558454

This is sooo easy to implement...

2017, why is this not picked up by Autodesk?

Scrolling through the Project Browser is maybe the most tiresome and endless scrolling I do all day, everyday.

Easy and wonderful productivity feature: When anything that is represented in the Project Browser is selected, a command can be invoked to shift the selection to the corresponding Project Browser representation.

Miles of scrolling saved.

What Kimtaurus mentions is not enough. Example:

I am on a sheet with various combined views and schedules. I need to duplicate some of these but don't know where they are. Simply right-clicking to open them does not help as I can only duplicate from project browser.

the duplicating part isn't too hard (if it's already on a Sheet), since you can easily find and expand the sheet in the project browser, but then the COPY still needs to be found (to place it on a sheet) or need: right-click to add a View to a Sheet

Sorry, I have no use for such a function.

Some of us don't mind spending half their life on the Revit browser. They probably don't have better thing to do.

Why ask why?

Just because someone presents an idea does not mean it will, or can, be implemented.

but.. why ask why ask why?
