Properties Panel to show every available Parameter (including built in)

Properties Panel to show every available Parameter (including built in)

Some parameters, are not shown in Properties Panel even though it is a valid value for the specified element.

Ex.:

Structural Foundations does not show built in Volume parameter in Properties Panel. So for a rapid value check you need to create a entire schedule, just to see an element Volume value.

Structural Columns does not show built in Length parameter in Properties Panel. So for a rapid value check you need again to create a entire schedule, just to see an element Length value.

Every existing parameter should be available in Properties Panel, and if there are too much of them, allow user to select which ones will appear.

What foundations and columns are you specifically talking about.

Structural Foundations - Footings show the volume

and structural columns show the length.

@Mike.FORM
The Volume property is not shown by default for Isolated Footing the one you show is a Wall Footing.
Again, some categories show some do not. It is a not standardized behavior, and that's why I'm pointing it out here.
And as Autodesk itself says:

You can create a family instance parameter called "Length" (or "Height") to columns, but there are a built in parameter already, with the same name for same purpose, that only shows in schedules and Navisworks.
And duplicating it, as I've seen it is not the best approach in my opinion. Just make them available inside Properties Panel.

I had hoped to vote for super hidden parameters like id or insertion point, but still, every little counts. This is surely just a bug fix on AD's behalf and will be resolved this afternoon?

@Simon_Weel Yeah, the already posted idea was archived almost 10 years ago due lack of community support. I saw that.
That's why I am posting it again, with a little more background about how this issue can affects the software usage.

And there are a lot more examples like that need to be fixed @MiWolff.

Unfortunatly, though it's like a bug that should be a QUICK FIX and MAJOR IMPROVEMENT for all of us, Autodesk doesn't seem to think so... Not only I do not expect them to fix this for revit 2028, they will not do that for the previous versions like they should.

Can you prove me wrong Autodesk? 🙂
