KEYNOTE SYMBOLS IN REVIT KEYNOTE SCHEDULES

KEYNOTE SYMBOLS IN REVIT KEYNOTE SCHEDULES

I would like to be able to include keynote symbols (customizable, hexagon, triangle, circle, square etc.) within the keynote schedule around the number that they already correlate with. Preferably the same file and symbol as the keynote family. Evan a separate family that can be loaded into both the keynote and into the schedule would work.  I think its comical that such a basic and standard practice of architecture was overlooked in a program designed for specifically for architecture.

Adding onto this conversation to show an example of what I'd like to be able to do. I did this by turning off border lines on the first column and adding hexagon-shaped detail lines on the sheet, but this requires a lot of manual editing. Would like to be able to schedule the annotation symbol around the mark so that graphically it matches the drawings.

Yes, please add this. we have many Annotation Symbols for all kinds of fixtures etc. and there is no way to make Schedule with these symbols to show Element Count + Symbol etc. Sort of like a Legend with Element Counts.

I spend several days going back and fourth with Autodesk and their "certified community professionals" sharing files and images, coordinating features, schedules & legends types only to be told "it should happen automatically", and "it's  product limitation" draw them in by hand in a drafting view and overlay them on the sheet. . It’s silly to me that such and advanced architecture software overlooks such a simple and fundamental aspect of architectural drawings.

@RahidMulla What the video describes is great for altering the keynote symbols easily.   I'm trying to get the symbol (however it was created)  into a schedule that is linked to where the number is displayed.

Could you just add an image to the header for reference?

Amen.

At least add an annotation family that we can use into the standard out of the box revit family library...
