The ability to "Keynote All By Category" just as you can "Tag All By Category"

Thanks for taking the time to submit your idea. Unfortunately, this idea did not get the support of the community over the last 6 months and as such we will not be pursuing it at this time. Now that we can assign a Multi-Category Tag for the "Tag All" command in Revit 2027, it would be fantastic to be able to also assign a Keynote Tag for elements of the "Tag All" command. There are certain categories we use that are always tagged with a keynote. As far as I have found so far, there is very limited API functionality for batch tagging with Keynotes. It has been a productivity chokepoint for us. We have used multi-categories in the past, but Keynotes are the only way without custom buttons or workarounds to have global consistency across our projects for element-based tagging.

There are a few other posts from years ago but were shot to the ground for some reason.

Thanks for the consideration! If the base functionality is now there for multi-category tags, then maybe Keynotes tacked on a 2027.1 update for AU? 😜

@kimberly_fuhrman-jones, since multi-category tagging and tagging in general is all up in the news these days with the release of 2027, perhaps this idea deserves to be resurrected.  It might gain a bit more traction now.  I did some digging and could not find a comparable idea out there currently.

@allandickson , @Ric_Weber - per Sasha's post, best practice would be re-write and repost the idea. Unarchiving gets a bit messy and confusing.
